Cara was one of the dogs we got very underweight and you can see how she was in the last photo of the post. Believe it or not, its the same dog with the first photos. She gained weight, got over the aneamia she had due to starvation, she was treated for warms and also was treated for leishmania. Even though she wasn’t positive, the tests results were at the limit and wanting to avoid any bad surprises at the future, she has taken the syrup. For some time Cara will need to be taking a pill that will help her clean her body from any viruses.
The pills that a dog with leishmania needs to take, just so you know, costs €4-7 a box depending on dosage. So Caras meds will cost almost €7 in case you are afraid of the cost. Its really nothing and the disease is not something that the north countries have. It xan be passed only by a kind of fly that exists in warm countries such as Cyprus, Greece, Italy, mediteranean countries and arabic or India etc. Its a shame to have such beautiful dogs with such gentle characters and be ignored cause of fear to the unknown. We had lots of animals with leishand we know how to help them. Helping their adopters is also priority for us so dont hesitate to check this beauty.
Cara is a greek hound cross and shes medium size. Now shes around 18 kilos, a pocket size hound. She lives with 5 other dogs of all sizes and she loves them all. Shes kind and gentle, loves humans and can be a great friend. With cats she doesnt mind as long as the cat wont run which is the click for all dogs.
