A doggy we love very much for his kindness and who also went through hell to survive.Gorgeous Gounis who was so happy when he came back from the vet, can find at last a home. He doesnt need to have a third operation, no more pain even though it was for his own good. His leg is ok and no matter what, the leg cant get longer so be the same height as the left one. It will always be 6-7 cm shorter but this super amazing boy, has found a way to cope with his problem.
He wont run and wont do something that will add him fatique and pain. The sweet boy, who most of the time roams free at the farm, going here and there. If he gets bored, he goes where the cats are, tries to pester them so one will get scared of him and run, so he will run after her and have fun. Not that he manages to run, he goes 10-15 meters in his own pase and then stops.
He’s happy though that he managed to chase one and thats it. Sometimes the cats ignore him or might hiss at him and he leaves disappointed. We cant also devoted him much time cause we have the cleaning and feeding. Plus vet runs and training.
Gounis needs a quiet home. He’s young but due to his leg, he will never be a playful dog that runs like a loonie and goes after squirells or deers. A family with kids would be ideal for him with how much he loves humans.
