Raya is one of the most quiet dogs that live in the shelter. We can hear her only when a cat passes by in front of her cage. Yes, we have cats who deliberately go in the cages area and pass in front of the cages just to wind up the dogs. Of course most of them go wild and bark like crazy. Raya is one of the dogs who barks then so we know that she can bark.
She’s good with any dog, any person but if she knows you. She’s still shy and keeps her distance from strangers. It’s a fear she has from when she was a stray. Some locals were throwing her things or stones and hitting her so she keeps a distance.
With a family that she will know, she will open up to them and will love them. We just hope that a family that will fall for her is out there. Someone who wants to show her that people with a heart still exist.
