Not his best photos but he doesnt stay still for more than a second. Rio is an impatient pup who wants to go out an play or wants us to play with him. Hes never staying still when we ‘re with him so we can take him photos to post.

The gorgeous boy who looks a lot like a labrador cross, is around a year old now. Unfortunately hes still with us as well as his brother Asher. The pups are in our care ever since they were abandoned outside the pounds gate. We offered to help them which we did but we never expected to have them still with us. We wanted them to have homes, to be happy with their families. Now both live with us in the cages we have. Both spend their lives in a shitty cage cause no one wants to adopt them. We ‘re not embarrassed to say shitty cages cause all cages are the same. Big or small cages, luxury or not, they are cages. Dogs are not free so how can they be happy??

Rio is a calm and gentle pup. He loves his play time, when he can run up and down and have fun. Hes still a pup actually so like all pups, what better than having fun and play? He loves other dogs and hes sociable and cheerful. Of course as a labrador cross hes large size, hes around 20 kilos and thats cause hes skinny and not fully build up yet. Humans are his best friends and he gets so excited when we have visitors who walk him and the rest of the dogs. He would be brilliant in a home once he settled cause hes a very smart boy and learns very easily.
