Melanie’s operation is now complete, but her journey is far from over.

Instead of recovering in the comfort of a home, this sweet Beagle girl is now living in a cage while she adjusts to life with only three legs. After everything she has been through, it’s heart breaking to see her spending her days confined when what she really needs is a soft bed, gentle reassurance, and the love of a family.

She looks so sad, and honestly, there’s very little we can do except find her the safe, loving foster home she so desperately needs.

Despite losing her leg, Melanie is still the sweetest, gentlest little girl. She has never stopped trusting people, and she deserves the chance to recover somewhere she feels comfortable and loved.
