Those puppy eyes are absolutely mesmerizing, aren’t they? ❤️

Meet Dora, one of our gorgeous pups! This beautiful Beagle/Labrador mix is almost 5 months old and has inherited the mischief, curiosity, and playful nature of both breeds. Of course, at her age she’s a bouncy, energetic puppy who loves exploring the world around her. 🙂

But Dora is much more than just a pretty face. In only a short time, she’s learned exactly how life works at the shelter. She knows when to sit patiently and wait for a treat, when to behave, and when it’s time to run over for cuddles and kisses.

When we had volunteers visiting a few weeks ago, Dora’s favourite thing was curling up in a volunteer’s arms and falling asleep. We have to admit, she snores a little—but it’s both hilarious and adorable!

Dora gets along well with our cats, although she will happily pester them if given the chance. That’s just puppy life—sticking her nose into everything and making friends with everyone, whether they want to or not!

She’s a confident, sociable girl who isn’t scared of new people or experiences. She absolutely loves attention and human company, which makes her an ideal companion for an active family or a busy home with children. Dora could happily be an only dog, as long as she has people around her, because she truly loves being with humans.

We would love to see Dora find her forever home soon. We already have many young puppies growing up in the shelter, and we don’t want another wonderful pup spending her puppyhood behind kennel bars.
