We absolutely adore this boy. He has one of the most unique and handsome looks we’ve ever seen in a dog. We honestly can’t help thinking of Chewbacca every time we look at him—which is exactly why we named him Chewy! You have to admit, he does look a bit like him.

Our gorgeous Chewy, who is a wonderfully unique mix of breeds (and trust us, it’s not often that we’re completely stumped!), has now moved to a foster home in Newcastle, UK. He’s living with one of our previous adoptees, the lovely Popples, who also has a very distinctive look. We may be biased, but we really do have some beautiful dogs!

Chewy is a small-to-medium-sized dog, weighing around 13–15 kg. Despite how he may appear in photos, he’s not a big dog at all. He’s an easy-going, goofy young lad with a lovely personality. He gets along well with other dogs and isn’t particularly bothered by other animals.

He’s already toilet trained and walks nicely on a lead. Chewy is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered—otherwise he wouldn’t have been able to travel to the UK. He’s a gentle, calm, and sociable dog who would make a wonderful furry companion.
