This gorgeous boy has improved massively and its shown on his behaviour. Ramses has calmed down and hes not that stressed and freaked doggy we got from ths pound with the ears bleeding.
The handsome boy goes for walks almost every day like all our doggies. He plays with the other dogs, he's ok with our cats but he will chase if given the chance. In our todays walk he tried to play with one but the cat was one of the old and grumpy ones we have and almost scratched him. Ramses has a weak spot for 2-3 especially that scratched him on the nose. He remembers them and runs after them to get even. 
He is amazing with all the dogs we have here as well as the people who visit us. Hes such a sweet, playful and cheerful doggy. Funny and surely goofy bless him. We dont believe that he was abandoned so easily when he was a pup. His owners must have been idiots surely.
Ramses is a smallish doggy, around 7-8 kilos and hes a kokoni crossed with a pincher. You can compare his size in the last of the photos, when being held by a volunteer coming to help with walking the dogs. He's got the kokoni body but pinchers colour. The picher part explains the shorter hair cause kokonis have rich long hair. Evwn if we didnt guessed right, what ever the mix he is, hes gorgeous bless him.
He needs now a home, a lively home. He needs human or doggy friends to play with, to enjoy life. Ramses has got so much love to give and its a shame to stay in a cage. Bruno is one of the hundreds of hounds who are abondoned in the country to survive or die from hunger. He was handed by his owner to someone else for hunting and once the new owner found out that he wasnt good, he just left him behind. You can see how he was when we found him from the photos we post. Emaciated and with wounds, scared and not knowing whats happening.
We contacted then the owner who happily handed him to us knowing he will have a better future. Bruno went to the vet for a check up and thank god hes healthy. Hes a young boy just over a year old and now hes 22 and going kilos. He was much lighter before and was going crazy when he was seeing food in front of him. He still does and he devours his food in seconds bless him. It will take him some more time to understand that he will always have food from now on.
Bruno is an english pointer most probably crossed with a german one? His own owner didnt know if hes crossed, he just knew that he got him from someone for hunting but Bruno was stupid and he didnt have patience so he gave him away. If he was indeed an experience dog owner, he would know that pups are playful, they are spontaneous and generally need patience. Bruno is lucky in a way cause now he has the chance of finding a loving home.

An impressive girl needs a home this time. Her name is Poppy and obviously shes a pure breed english pointer. The young girl whos around a year old, is a hand over from her owner. He said shes not good for hunting and when we met her we realised why. Shes a goofy leggy girl who loves everything and asks for cuddles all the times. Actually shes also clumsy cause she doesnt know what to do with her legs.
Poppy is obviously a big girl, the usual large ep. Shes friendly with dogs, cats. Ok, she chases the pidgeons but cause its fun. She didnt realised yet that she can hunt them. Shes goofy and the silliest thing she does is to go through the cat flap in the house instead of going through the door. And yes, even her size, she manages to go through the cat flap without getting stuck. We have a video to prove that. 
As for all our dogs, we need a home for this pretty girl. We dont mind what country she will be adopted as long as its a loving home. Shes already vaccinated, chipped and spayed so she can go in a home tomorrow if asked. You can download an application form from our website or just message us at out page. She looks so posh bless her. So delicate and gentle with these photos. Merida is still available, not cause she didnt have any interest. She had lots and she was even adopted by a loving young couple.
But! This tiny little kokoni girl who is absolutely cute and so adorable, is very scared. We dont know what caused her fear before she came to us but shes not the most sociable doggy. She was adopted but due to her fears, she managed to escape and we had to go get her as she wasnt going close to anyone. This means that we are looking again for a home for this totally gorgeous girl, a home who will have a lot of experience with scared doggies and lots of patience.
Her daily routine at the shelter is eat in the morning, play, sleep. Then when the heat cools down, we have 22-24c these days which is hot, shes out of her cage for a few hours so she can run and play. She will follow us but from a distance. She comes to us if we sit down and give her 10-15 minutes to come close to us so we can grub her or corner her and manage to catch her. She will not let us pick her up so simple and she knows us. If theres another person at the shelter she will try to go hide or go sit outside her cage door so we will let her go in and go hide in her house.
She will let us cuddle her, give her kisses and do belly rubs. Merida actually enjoys the human touch but shes afraid of strangers. Of any new person she will see which makes us really wonder how she was treated from the persons who picked her to take her to the pound with her mom and brother. She was just six months old when picked up from the workers to go to the pound, an experience which seems that terrified her. 1st Puppy Pocket Sized Pointer
Hes the first pup to be posted from the litter we got recently. Not named of course and he does need a sponsor like all of the pups.
The pups are really adorable and already 4 months old cause their gums are swollen and they start to show the edges of their adult teeth. Plus they are leggy and clumsy. We adore them and we love their afternoon walks when they come all of them for cuddles while doing zoomies. The one we post is the only one with the white/beige colours and hes one of the smallish of the litter.
The pups will all be pocket size pointers with the smallest to be around 10-12 kilos and the biggest around 15 kilos.
This cutie is a quiet boy, a happy loving pup who loves to play, come for cuddles all the time and loves everyone. Hes fine with our dogs, the cats, the succulent garden we try to plant.
Dogs do love to dig and we were afraid they would dug out the succulents we planted. You can see from the hands and foot of the volunteer that he's not a big pup. He's gonna be a smallish pointer mix boy whos so kind and loving.

Rosa is enjoying the sunny weather we have the last days. After the freezing days, we needed the good weather. Its still freezing though at night time as it goes to 5-7c.
Rosa is the old beagle we posted almost a week ago, the oldie we got from a hunter. He had 2 beagles he wanted to get rid off and actually wanted to shoot them. Its not that we have the space but we couldnt let both of them being in danger.
Rosa based on her old owner is 10,5 years old, a pure breed beagle as obvious. The cherry eye is not bothering her for now so at her age, its not important. Our oldie is slow and the different levels of the farm are exhausting her. She loves to go slowly around the farm, to know everything thats going on. Shes a quiet lady that likes quiet and resting. We we usually see her lying around on her own as shes more quiet. Her recall is very good which is surprising for a beagle.
She does love cuddles and kisses bless her. Our cats dont bother her and she totally ignores them. Shes good with any dog of course and loves humans of any age. If anyone wants to help this old lady and give her a home, her adoption fee will be half as we sponsor our oldies. We want them to have a loving home and a warm bed.

2nd pup of chihuahua / kokoni litter
Second pup from the chikoni pups, a kokoni/chihuahua cross girlie. Shes a cheeky little girl and you can tell is straight away from her pose and her look.
The little girlie whos one of the 3 pups chihuahua crosses, is of course one of the small pups of the litter. She doesnt have a name but hopefully she will have one with this post. Shes a cheeky little cutie bless her who loves attention and playing. Shes a timid pup but these tiny babies had a lot of things changing the last couple of weeks. What they need now is homes, to belong in families and feel security.
The tiny girlie, will be 3-4 kilos when adult, a normal chi size. Message us if you 're interested in fostering her or adopting her. If you can foster or adopt, you can easily sponsor her and give her a cute name like her. For adopting her, adoption fee will apply and a home check.

Lizzie is a staffador, staffy/labrador pup. The only think the pups have from the staffy side of them are the colours and ears. The body shape, crazy character, habits, are from the labrador side. You can see in Lizzies photos her body shape, its the labrador one. Straight and build up. She will be large size, the Labrador size bless them.
Lizzie is 6,5 months old now, shes fine with dogs and humans. With young children she will need an introduction as shes timid. No cats as she hate them. She loves going for walks and playing with her friends. Shes cheerful of course and caring with humans. She can be the best friend bless her for people who have the patience with pups.

The girl is amazing and who ever dumped her, was an idiot. Seriously, she has a brilliant character. Today we started taking them one by one out on a lead and they picked up walking from the first couple of minutes. They were curious and wanted to find out their environment but its like they were understanding everything. They were observing the cats and barking at them but not aggressively. Their only issue was the dogs we have roaming free, they were afraid of them. This means they were isolated where ever they were before, they didnt see any other animals till now. Slowly slowly we will work on that, they will be ok and will be much more socialised. We have the patience, time and of course the love.
This one is the first of the 3 girls and thank god we found a way to tell apart the 2 black girls. One has a longer nose than the other one. The one with the shorter nose is named Amara but this girl and the tan one, are without names. You can see that shes still skinny but for us that see them everyday now, she has some weight. She will gain more and will be a gorgeous girl. For understanding her size and the other girls size, you can see the last photo we post and shes holding our volunteers hand. This one is the biggest in size and shes 7-8 kilos, much smaller than she should be.

🐕 Age: Approx 5 months
Second pup from the 3 mallis girlies. Shes the only one of the 3 with the usual tan colour. The other 2 are black coloured with some tan highlights on the fur. It kinda gets brownish at the edge.
This pup is a cheeky smart girlie. She started going for walks as well. Already she knows what a lead is and how to walk close to us without pulling and chocking. In the next couple of walks she will learn how to sit as well. Its so nice to see them recover easily and behave so well after the horror they went through. You can see as well that shes much smaller than a normal mallis.
At 5 months old and the volunteers hand is big compared to them. Inspite their abusement, the 3 girls are very friendly and love cuddles. They love to be held and have kisses bless them.
They are super friendly with humans as we said before, with the dogs we have once they know them and with out cats. We wish we could send them in a home with people to love them, tomorrow if possible. Unfortunately we have to beg for foster homes or hope for forever ones. The 3 girls are ideal for people who want small/medium working dogs or love the breed but cant handle the big mallis.

Harley is growing up and fast bless him. The boy from the staffy pups has become a gorgeous pupster now that hes filled up evenly. He eats like tomorrow and this reminds us of labrador behaviour. His colour is goldish on the back which makes the labrador side more believable. We know that the pups are crossed with something big cause they are much bigger than normal staffy pups are. And now Harley has the golden fur coming out which inforces it. He has the long ears and snout. He does have also the crazyness with the water. 
We wish the 2 pups would find easily homes. Now that they filled up and have grown, both of them have shown us that they 're very sweet and loving pups. They are beautiful and we wish people would see this. They are ok with any dog, humans and they love humans and kids. Also cats and thank got we work on this issue with the cats we have at the shelter. With christmas coming its such a shame seeing all these doggies in shelter when they could have been in a home all this time. Why people has to buy dogs and not rescue when they 're so many in need. We brought Mila to us from the kennels. She didnt like it there cause she was on her own and here shes got friends to play. Shes a young pup bless her who loves to play and being on her own was a torture for her. She doesnt understand that with us its a huge luxury to have a cage for you only.
The sweet girl who recovered from her leg operation, is now doing very well. Her leg is healed, no issues at all with the hip bone and only the scar shows that she had an operation. All she needs now is to start socialisation and some training with walking. We try to work with our dogs as much as we can and to learn their character. What they like, what dont. What they can do or dont so we will tell people about it. Its the best to be honest about the dogs character cause it needs to find the perfect family for it.
Mila has a very sweet character and shes shy. Its early days and she has just started to know us again. Her behaviour is amazing towards the other dogs, only with food is a bit dominant but it was expected. Thats why we have food 24/7 in the cages, so the dogs will understand that food will always exist. No more starving or being afraid. Shes a talling girl and when she gains weight, she will go over 20. Now she needs to gain 3-4 kilos for sure. She barks at cats but shes ensure which tells us that she didnt have interaction with them at the kennel she was. When she first came to us, she wasnt bothered by them at all. She went to the kennel though and now shes back with us so we will start all over just to be sure.
We would ask if anyone would help us with fostering but we know no one will offer. Pups who are cute dont find foster homes so Mila who is around a year old and a hound, has no chances in someone to offer her a space in his house. We just need a month with her to assess her and teach her some things.

The last puppy from the litter, the mighty Jaxx as we call him. He's the biggest of the pups, thats why we call him mighty.
Jaxx was also returned from his family like Hunter when he was a pup cause he was too big. It makes us wonder, would the boys be returned if they were great danes? Or the name of the breed its what important? 
Jaxx is a tall boy, like all the siblings. He's a total goofball and the owners of the rest siblings know why we say that.

A heart that loves every human, every dog. Not cats though, those he hates them. He's a dog with a prey drive, we cant blame him for that. We have a big big girl for adoption. Sonia is a 2 year old kangal dog, an anatolian shepherd. Her owner adopted her when a youngster and now he cant look after her so he asked us to rehome her.
Sonia is who would normally be around 40- 50 kilos, is overweight due to not being exercised. She must be 60 at least kilos but she can easily move with now issues for her size. Shes a total goofball who believes that shes 10 kilos aand can do cuddles. Thank god she can be easily trained and shes smart but no one had the time for her.
Where she lives is not healthy for her and needs to be moved the soonest so she can get some exercise. Shes not easy to be handled due to her size so experience in large animals will be asked.

Another one of our forgotten dogs. Sweet Harris is one of the pups we got from the pound 5-6 months ago. We got then 3 litters of pups that no one wanted to adopt cause they were mixed breed and mainly black coloured.
Harris is one of the 2 girls and thank god the other one was adopted then. One of the boys had died of parvo, one is adopted in Uk. Harris are the 2 pups left that don't have homes. She is a very sweet, very kind hearted. Friendly with dogs, humans. Harris is 8-9 months old now and medium to large? size, 17 kilos. We dont know what breed she is cause shes all of them are different looks but for us shes gorgeous. All dogs are gorgeous and special.
It kills us seeing her in the cage all the time but its what we they only shelter have to offer. We dont have people wanting to adopt any dog to help or offering to foster. Its so sad. We got Danny from his owner 2 months ago but with everything happening we didnt have any chance of posting him. We got 2 dogs from this guy, 2 beautiful doggies who werent good for hunting. Thats not important for us and as always we will find them the best homes.

Thats not important for us and as always we will find them the best homes.Danny is a german pointer cross, we were told he's crossed with a segugio but he's looking totally german pointer. He's around 2 years old and hes medium size. We believe hes around 15 kilos but hes tallish. Hopefully he will be around 20 if we can put a few kilos on him. He is timid but we expected this. Very few hunting dogs arent to be honest cause they 're not socialised. He is though very sweet, loyal and has a good recall. So so with cats, hes puzzled why our cats arent running from fear. We will check this a bit more but for now, if a family comes up for him, they need to be cat free. Danny is fine with any dog, male or female and a doggy friend will help him adjust to a home.

Danos is a doggy we got from the pound a few months ago. He was attacked by other dogs when he went around their area to find food. He was a skeleton then and if you check the photos of this album, you can find his photos. It wasnt enough that he was abandoned, starving and thirsty and trying to find food, he was attacked and injured. At the photos we post now, you can see that he still has wounds that are healing. Nothing remind though of how he was before.
Danos is a pointer/vizsla mix and he must be 1,5 -2,5 years old. Hes young and hes good with other dogs. He loves humans but hates cats and has a strong prey drive. Hes kinda crazy and a bit of a handfull but with the mix he is, we didnt expect any less. He would be perfect for a young active family who love sports.

More from Thalias gorgeous pups and this time is Zander, one of the boys. There are 3 boys and 5 girls available for adoption. 6 of them have the shepherd colours and 2 Thalias colours.
Zander who will be one of the medium size pups, is one of the quiet ones. He is dominant but not the Alpha. He likes his peace and quiet, to know whats going on but not inflicting himself. Hes also smart and loves humans. A sweet and well behaved puppy who will be a very good addition to a family.
He loves food and that makes him easy to be trained. Its not easy for us though cause we have lots of pups and dogs but unfortunately not enough time. With a family that will devote him time, he will be the best dog. All pups of the litter need the attention and guidance of persons who will help them. If the family already has a dog that they can take example of, it would be perfect for them.

Rosalie, thats what we called this little girl, has gained weight as you can see. She was a tiny, very skinny pup. Now shes a petite french pointer, a pocket pointer. She must be 10 kilos? maybe less as shes so small.
Rosalie is now around 6-6,5 months old which means she will grow just a bit more. A kilo more? or two. The only thing she hasnt change is her fears. Shes still scared of people and thats something we cant help cause we dont have many people at the shelter.
She's fine now with dogs, shes playing a lot with any dog. Before she didnt even go close to another dog. This ment that her owner put her in a cage with older dogs which bullied her.
She needs socialisation bless her. Shes afraid of humans and thats why she goes in that corner when we go in the cages. Would anyone foster her? Because socialisation with humans isn't done in a shelter with dogs, it happens in a place with humans. Would anyone give her a chance to see that the world is not bad? and not all people hit dogs. He is now 6 months old and by the looks of it, hes gonna be spending his childhood in a cage. 
He was in a foster home with another pup till they find a home but the couple cant look after them for ages. It was covid, then the war and now its vacations. People dont want doggies anymore? Hes tallish actually, leggy and slim like a hound. We though he might had staffy in him but he ended up looking nothing like a staffy. Hes very well behaved. Knows how to go on a walk and be on a lead. Hes got a good recall and knows basic training. His foster parents loved him a lot and didnt want to return him but they cant have 2 dogs as much as they want to.

Shes growing up and becoming more gorgeous. We have to admit that shes unique. At the begining we said that shes a husky/vizsla but afterwards we said no cause shes smaller in size. As she grows up though, we come back to the husky/vizsla mix.
Just look at her, isnt she this mix? Shes double coated, her ears are almost lifted and has the long nose. If she doesnt like something, she will tell you about it which is also a husky thing. Yeap, she knows how to complain!! But she has the vizsla type of looking as well. The eyes, the colour, the craziness. Not that the husky isnt crazy. Shes has a heart of gold though, shes so sweet.
As a puppy she doesnt know how to behave and its what we 're learning now. She learned the lead and loves her walks. We try to learn sit and wait but you can tell that it wont be soon. 
She gets easily distracted by bees, by butterflies, by a bird passing by. Shes almost 9 months now so still a baby and we forgive her. How can we be disappointed with her anyway?

We know that its not the persons fault either but its so unfair for her. Shes a lovely girl and if it wasnt her hate for cats, she would have been so perfect. She loves humans, shes fine with dogs, amazing on lead. Why nobody wants her?

Sabina is a cane corso cross female around 1,5 years old. We found her in some fields roaming around, begging for food from the local farmers. We brought her to the farm and ever since shes with us. Shes a mixed c.corso, a large size black dog which means she has almost zero chances in adopting locally. We 've seen this hundreds of times and it doesnt end unfortunately.
A few weeks ago, we posted a cane corso in the pound and we had more than 20 persons offering to take it as a foster or adopt it. We replied that we need to wait 15 days for ths owner to be found and that we have a corso cross girl with us if they wanted to see her. No need to say that not even one person asked about Sabina. Not even one person.
Not even one person.For as long as shes with us, this gorgeous girl was trained for going to walks and to understand basic commands. She still has work with sit, come and stay cause she gets distracted all the time from the cats who roam free in the farm. She totally hates cats so we walk, if we have extra time, away from the farm to train with her. While walking, shes much more calm than many other dogs who are half her size. No pulling and she always turns her head at the back to check what you 're doing. For a large dog she is, shes so gentle which surprises us . Everyone believed that she will kill who ever is walking her and yet everyone is thrilled with her. Shes so gentle with people and we want her so much to find a home with someone to cuddle her.
