Meet our handsome Simba. ❤️

Simba is one of our “bush babies”—the stray puppies we found hiding beneath huge bushes in the countryside. 🌿 He is now around 1½ years old and approaching his second birthday, which means he has spent almost his entire life growing up in a shelter. 💔

They were a beautiful group of puppies, and thankfully four of them have already found loving homes. 🏡 Simba is one of the three siblings still waiting in Cyprus, alongside Amalia and Jester.

We believe Simba is a Pointer/Brittany Spaniel mix. At one point we wondered whether he might have some Blue de Gascogne in him because of his markings, but he’s by far the hairiest puppy in the litter, while his siblings have the shorter coats more typical of Pointers. Whatever his breed mix, he’s a stunning dog. ✨

Simba is a tall, slim boy weighing around 20kg. He is sociable, gentle, and playful, although he can be a little timid when faced with new situations. He gets along well with people and other dogs ❤️ and has spent his whole life surrounded by canine friends. Cats, however, are not his favourite companions.

Because our shelter is located in the countryside, Simba isn’t used to the hustle and bustle of busy towns or cities. Loud traffic, children playing and shouting, and other urban noises are unfamiliar to him. He’s a quiet, sensitive boy who enjoys a peaceful environment and loves having space to run and explore. 🌳

We would love to see Simba finally find the forever home he deserves. 🏡 A home with another friendly dog would be wonderful, as he’s used to living with canine companions and enjoys their company.
