She’s settling slowly, slowly. You can tell because she actually stayed still long enough for us to manage to take some photos of her! 😂
She’s adorable, bless her, but she’s SO restless. It’s not that we’re not used to crazy teenagers, but Shepherds are a category of their own! 😅
Corina is the low-type Black German Shepherd, and she’s already amazing with humans. She basically adores the human race. ❤️ As expected, she’s quite dominant, doesn’t like small dogs, and isn’t particularly fond of other females. This is one more reason why we want her to learn how to be sociable.
Her possessiveness has already reduced, but knowing where she lived for half a year, we understand her behaviour. Here, she doesn’t have to compete with other dogs for food. She can enjoy playing, relaxing and simply being a dog. These are the very first steps of socialisation.
We don’t want her to grow up and become reactive. Her future home may have other dogs or other animals, and she needs to learn how to live peacefully alongside them.
And our girl is a TALKER, by the way! 😂 She barks, complains, and if we ignore her, she changes the tone of her barking and starts demanding our attention. If we tell her to stop, she looks at us and barks again as if she’s saying, “Are you for real?!?” 😂
She’s such a drama queen and absolutely hilarious. We think this is her way of getting the attention she never had before. ❤️
Corina was never socialised as a puppy. Her owner wanted her to be a hunting dog, which simply wasn’t what she was suited for.
If she finds a home where she’ll receive plenty of love and attention, together with some training and guidance, she will become an even more amazing dog. She’s incredibly smart and will learn basic commands very easily.
Our gorgeous girl can be adopted in Cyprus or abroad — wherever she finds the loving, responsible home she deserves. 🐾❤️
If you’re interested in adopting Corina, please message us for more information about the adoption process.
Fingers crossed that this sweet, funny, beautiful young girl finds her forever home very soon! 🤞❤️🐕
