He looks like a Labrador, doesn’t he? 🖤

Well, Salem’s mum, Bella, is part Labrador, so he definitely inherited some of those lovely looks. He’s much smaller though—at under 15 kg, Salem is a small-to-medium-sized boy.

Salem is one of Bella’s four puppies. She gave birth to Simeon, Salem, Storm, and Sydney—four wonderful dogs who are sure to make four lucky families very happy. We named him Salem because of his almost completely black coat, but also because he’s got a tiny mischievous streak. Nothing too naughty though—he’s actually quite shy! He just has that sweet, slightly cheeky personality that makes you want to cuddle him and shower him with kisses. ❤️

Our handsome boy is the quietest and shyest of the litter. He’s great with other dogs and loves to play, whether with males or females. He’s also surprisingly good with cats, especially considering his mum can’t stand them! He may chase a cat if it runs, but he’s not aggressive towards them.

Salem could happily live in a busy family home with children and would absolutely love all the attention. He’s such a gentle, lovable boy, and we’d be thrilled to see him find a home soon. Sadly, black dogs are often overlooked in shelters, and his beautiful colour hasn’t helped him attract the interest he deserves. 🐾
